Planet Finance Launches Swap: What You Need To Know

We’re excited to announce that Planet Finance’s Swap is now live!

Until today the liquidity pool for AQUA has been on PancakeSwap in the AQUA-BNB pool. The old liquidity pool on PCS will still exist but will no longer be incentivized by the protocol from the AQUA generated each day. The AQUA rewards allocated to that pool will now be allocated to the new AQUA-BNB liquidity pool on Planet Finance.

Since launch, AQUA has had significant trade volume each day. The trading fees for this volume has been split between PancakeSwap and the liquidity pool. Moving the liquidity pools to Planet Finance enables the trade fees to stay within the protocol & allows for them to be used in a way to drive more value to AQUA holders.

Key Points: Initially AQUA-BNB will be the first liquidity pool on Planet Finance’s swap. In the coming weeks we’ll be adding LP’s for AQUA-CAKE, several stock tokens (mAssets) & more. Also, anyone will be able to create their own liquidity pools on the Planet Finance swap and list their own tokens. The new AQUA-BNB pool will now have a 0.1% withdraw fee to remove any incentive of any bots to move in and out of the pool without penalty.

When’s The Swap Live To Start Adding Liquidity: 4:45pm EST
When Do AQUA Rewards Shift To The New LP: 5:45pm EST

Remove Liquidity From The Old AQUA-BNB Pool:

1. Go to AQUA-BNB and click the pool so it drops down
2. Click MAX and withdraw your LP tokens to your wallet
3. Click Get LP Tokens
4. Click Your Liquidity
5. Then remove your liquidity so that you have BNB and AQUA in your wallet

Once you have BNB and AQUA back in your wallet you can go to the swap on planet finance do the following:

1. Click Swap & then click liquidity
2. Click Add Liquidity
3. Select BNB and AQUA
4. Enter in the amount you want to put in the Liquidity Pool
5. Click Add Liquidity
6. Go back to Base and Deposit the LP tokens into the AQUA-BNB vault

Governance

We’re also very close to launching voting on Planet Finance. Anyone will be able to create and vote on proposals. These proposals can be for anything from tokens to list, adjustments to fees or anything you can think of.
